Fatima Fertilizer’s Sarsabz Kissan Convention: Boosting Cotton & Maize Productivity & Empowering Farmers
Fatima Fertilizer, in collaboration with the Agriculture Department Punjab, successfully organized the Sarsabz Kissan Convention in Sahiwal. The event aimed to educate farmers on sustainable agricultural practices, early cotton cultivation, and spring maize production, reinforcing Pakistan’s commitment to food security and economic growth.
Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Punjab, graced the event as the chief guest, alongside a distinguished panel of dignitaries, including Secretary Agriculture Punjab, DG Agriculture Punjab, and Commissioner Sahiwal Division. The event saw an impressive turnout, with around 1500 farmers participating.
The convention emphasized the balanced use of fertilizers, particularly Sarsabz Nitrophos and Sarsabz CAN, to enhance soil health and crop yields. With cotton being a key driver of Pakistan’s textile sector and maize serving as a crucial crop for food security and livestock feed, the adoption of modern agricultural practices was strongly advocated.

Government Initiatives: The Punjab Government also announced a rental machinery services scheme to further support farmers in increasing crop productivity.
