OGDCL Boosts Oil Production by 1,160 BPD at Kunnar Oil Field
The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has announced a significant increase in oil production from its Kunnar Oil Field in Hyderabad, Sindh. Through optimization efforts, the company has successfully enhanced oil output from two key wells, Kunnar-12 and Kunnar-6.

The Kunnar-12 well has seen a notable increase in production, from 1,060 barrels per day (BPD) to 1,820 BPD, resulting in an additional 760 BPD. Meanwhile, the Kunnar-6 well, which was revived through rigless interventions and re-completion using an artificial lift system, is now producing 400 BPD.

These enhancement efforts have contributed an additional 1,160 BPD to the overall production. OGDCL holds a 100% working interest in the Kunnar Mining Lease Area, highlighting the company’s technical expertise and commitment to maximizing production from its assets.
