Energy Revolution: OGDCL Unlocks New Oil and Gas Reserves in Lakki Marwat!
Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has successfully commenced oil and gas production from the Bettani-2 appraisal well in Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. OGDCL operates the Wali Exploration License with a 100% working interest.
The Bettani-2 well is currently producing 8.5 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas and 610 barrels per day (BPD) of oil. The extracted gas is processed at OGDCL’s Bettani processing plant and injected into the SNGPL network for seamless distribution to the national grid.
This milestone underscores OGDCL’s commitment to advanced exploration techniques and reinforces its leadership in Pakistan’s energy sector. By enhancing domestic production, the company plays a crucial role in strengthening Pakistan’s energy security and economic growth.
