Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has successfully increased gas production at the Shahdad X-1 well in Gambat South. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, including water shut-off operations and acid-soluble cement, PPL achieved a remarkable 280% rise in gas flow. The current gas flow rate stands at 8.4 Million Standard Cubic Feet per Day (MMscfd), accompanied by a significant reduction in water production.
